My name is Bunnie Ferro, I live in Wellsville, Ohio. My husband SSG Kevin Ferro is with the National Guards / Charlie Company out of Waynesburg, PA. and was deployed in January of 2005 for an 18-24 month tour to Iraq. Today is his 38th birthday (July 9, 2005). That is him and I in the first pix and 2 of our Children, Kodie 15 and Mikie 11 in the second pix. We have 3 grandchildren, Hannah 5, Levi 3 and Gabrielle who will be a year in Sept. (in the third pix) to our oldest daughter Aimee (in the next pix) and her husband Pat (in the last pix).
 
This is Kevin's second deployment in 3 years. He did a year in Kosovo and was home for a little over 9 months before this deployment. We all miss him terribly, love him so much, and want him home safe!
 
During the Kosovo deployment to keep myself busy I started making my "God's Army of Angels" dolls for familes of the deployed. I began making them for my children and grandchildren and they began catching on. The family member keeps the doll and a cammo angel gets sent in the mail to the soldier to keep in his helmet or uniform. Also attached to these dolls are small American flags and "Defending freedom" wrist bands for family members and the soldier. My children and grandchildren find comfort in these dolls as I do in making them.
 
Our front porch is covered in yellow ribbons, a large American flag, window flags and garden ribbons for Kevin.
